Constructed from seamless 1.1 oz silicone impregnated ripstop nylon, our pack covers are built to keep your pack dry. Instead of plastic loops and clips, we use Velcro and a fabric loop to make it easier to attach the cover to your pack with cold, wet hands. Perimeter elastic hugs the pack, keeping the pack cover secure while you hike. These ultralight pack covers pack super small into an integrated stuff sack for easy and unobtrusive pack storage when the sun is shining.

All ula gear does what it’s suppose to, does it well, and doesn’t fail

I just received the rain cover for my Photon pack. My initial observations are as follows: I had to wrestle to open the Velcro closure for the small bag containing the cover. I ultimately had to use my teeth to pull the Velcro strips apart and open the bag. I would suggest adding small tabs to provide something to grip to open the bag.
The rain cover itself is beautiful and very well crafted, like all ULA equipment.
Lastly, I again wrestled for more than 5 minutes to put the rain cover back in its tiny little bag. I can only liken this to what it might be like to put a cat in a pillowcase. It was very a frustrating process.
I can only imagine how exasperated
one might get while
out in the wilderness , where staying dry is paramount, having to fight to open the tiny bag that stores your rain cover as the rain falls and you and your equipment gets wet.
As I mentioned above, installing a couple tabs to grip to help pull the Velcro closure open, plus making the bag a little bigger would help tremendously to make this product easier to use.
