DESCRIPTION
The much-requested 36L Dragonfly is now available in ECOPAK™. The 36L Dragonfly is bigger, so you can pack more into your adventure. Constructed of ECOPAK™ fabric and UltraStretch™ mesh, we've created a travel/day (and beyond!) pack that can handle whatever life (or an over-zealous baggage handler) can throw at it.
ECOPAK™ fabrics are made from 100% recycled polyester and are recyclable after use, so you can feel good about your purchase. ECOPAK is a tight weave fabric with textured yarn that creates a supple hand with comparable durability, stitch-holding, and abrasion resistance to 500d Cordura® without the added weight. 70d ripstop backing means you don't have to worry about your cargo.
Front-loading, the ECOPAK™ 36L Dragonfly is quick to pack, so you can be out the door in a flash. Several organizational pockets help keep you sane in this hectic world. The quick-access top pocket with built-in lanyard and ULA carabiner is perfect for things you want to be safe yet accessible, like those keys. The front panel has 2 internal open-stretch mesh compartments (split) and an external UltraStretch™ mesh pocket for more organization. Two large UltraStretch™ mesh side pockets can fit 64 oz. bottles with ease. UltraStretch™ is a four-way stretch mesh supercharged with ULTRA to be extra tear-resistant and durable.
The ECOPACK™ 36L Dragonfly fits a 17-inch laptop in a laptop sleeve that doubles as a hydration bladder. Two internal compression straps cinch your load so you can get all your gear in hassle-free. Need more room? Put it under the front bungee on the outside.
Signature s-strap shoulder straps and a sternum strap provide all-day comfort. Need more support? We've tucked 1" low-profile fixed attachment loops behind the lower bottom shoulder strap anchor points to allow for the attachment of our removable Dragonfly + Packrat Hipbelt. (Please note, the Dragonfly + Packrat Hipbelt is only compatible with newer Dragonfly models that feature the 1" low-profile attachment loops. To see if your pack is compatible, check for these loops behind the bottom shoulder-strap anchor points.) A NEW! padded haul loop provides a comfortable grip even when you reach max loads. YKK AquaGaurd water-resistant zippers throughout. The ECOPACK™ 36L Dragonfly has a 2" x 3" Velcro/removable ULA logo patch.

Made by Challenge Outdoor (the creators of ULTRA™), the ECOPACK™ EPX Collection is made from 100% recycled polyester components, no-fluorcarbon C0 DWR, and a 70d Ripstop backing, meaning you can rest well knowing it’s an ultra-light, durable, and eco-friendly option. Even better, it’s recyclable after use! The 70d Ripstop has excellent stitch holding and superior strength. ECOPAK EPX is waterproof to 200+ PSI.
EPX600™
The ECOPAK™ EPX Collection features 100% recycled polyester components, C0 DWR (no fluorocarbons), a 70d Ripstop backing, and is recyclable after use. Compared to traditional pack fabric with 50d plain weave backing, the 70d Ripstop has better stitch holding and superior strength.
EPX600RS™
A tightly wove textile with textured yarn, EPX600RS has a supple hand with comparable durability, stitch-holding, and abrasion resistance to 500d Cordura®. Constructed with a C0 DWR, a 600d face, 45° Blue CrossPly, a 70d ripstop backing and an additional 70d ripstop reinforcement on the fabric face. Unlike the EPX600™, the EPX600RS™ features an additional 70d Ripstop on the face of the fabric.

I’m a huge fan of the 36L Ecopak. I got the EPX600RS version and it looks and feels amazing. The stitching is immaculate and the bag is very well put together. I recently did a onebag trip to southern California and this bag travels *really* well. It is light weight, and the straps do a great job of distributing the weight you put into it. It is not excessively wide or deep. On the back, everything feels comfortable and there are no pressure points, rubbing, or digging from the bag.
For me, the larger size dramatically improves the usability of the bag compared to the 30L I previously tried. This is particularly true of the front pocket: the wider zipper makes accessing the front pocket easier, and I was able to fit a completely full Evergoods CAP1 in the front stretch pocket without issue.
I highly recommend the ULA Dragonfly 36L for onebag travel, particularly if you do outdoor oriented traveling.
