Field Repair Buckle
** Please Note: These buckles only work with identical male/female counterparts and don’t work with our older versions of buckles.
DESCRIPTION
The Sea to Summit Field Repair Buckle is designed to permanently repair broken buckles, in the field, with just the help of a screwdriver.
The 1-pin 3/4" Field Repair Buckle is perfect for fixing broken 3/4" buckles on your ULA backpack (sternum strap buckle, compression strap buckles, and roll-top buckles) without needing to cut or sew. Simply unscrew the pin on the female buckle piece, insert it into the sewn webbing strap, and tighten to close. The male buckle piece has a ladderlock that can be easily threaded onto the adjustable webbing side of your strap.
The 2-pin 3/4" Field Repair Buckle is perfect for fixing non-adjustable buckles, like those found on Sea to Summit Dry Bags. Simply unscrew the pins on the female and male buckle pieces, insert them into the sewn webbing straps on your dry bag or other non-adjustable straps, and tighten to close.
Don't let a broken buckle ruin your adventure; be prepared by carrying a Field Repair Buckle in your repair kit.
